The questions people ask before buying.
Can I get banned from ProTanki for using this?
Yes. Overdrive is a modified client on the live ProTanki server, and the ProTanki team does not know about or approve it. Use an account you are willing to lose. Bans are not refunded.
Which features only work in parkour battles?
Everything that changes combat or movement: Ghost, Teleport, Speed, Aim, Wall, Tank Ignore and Parkour Shots. They show as PARKOUR ONLY elsewhere and cannot be switched on — not from the menu, a hotkey or a saved setting. Visual and convenience features (Tank Outline, Flip, Anti-Idle, Rejoin, shot colours and the ProTanki fixes) work everywhere.
Can I use it on more than one PC?
One PC per account at a time. To move to another computer, unlink the old one on your account page — you can do that yourself once every 7 days. Unlinking closes the game on the old PC.
Can I play on several ProTanki accounts?
Yes. Your Overdrive pass is tied to your Overdrive account and PC, not to a ProTanki account.
What happens when my pass runs out while I'm playing?
You keep playing until you close the game. The next launch asks you to renew.
What if Overdrive's server goes down while I'm playing?
Your game keeps running. Starting a new game needs the server, so the launcher will wait until it is back.
Do you refund?
No — see the refund policy. If ProTanki itself is down, every active pass is extended by the downtime instead.
Why does the first launch take a while?
The first time, the game downloads its graphics and sound files from ProTanki (a few hundred MB). The loading screen shows how much has come down. Later launches use the saved copy.
Which languages are there?
English, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese — on this site, in the launcher (switch at the top) and in the in-game menu (Settings tab).
What do you store about me?
Your email, a hash of your password, a hash of your PC's hardware ID, your IP address for 30 days, the times you played, and the ProTanki names you log in with. Details in the privacy policy. We never see or store your ProTanki password.
Can I share my copy or my account?
No. Each downloaded copy is marked to the account that downloaded it, so a shared copy can be traced back. Sharing gets the account closed without a refund — see the terms.
